We bought this vehicle as a family / Girl Scout vehicle for extended trips. The DVD player was a plus for us so that the girls could have something to enjoy watching on long trips. We then found that the DVD player will only play certain 30 minute DVDs. It will not play full-length videos. These are not blu-ray discs, just basic DVDs. In speaking with a neighbor who once worked for Chevrolet, he noted that the DVD players do have problems playing longer movies, such as Disney movies. If it won't play Disney movies for children, what is the point of having a DVD player? (We have tried others besides Disney to no avail.) Veggie Tales and some other short movies do work.
