I took this car in several times to the dealer because the ac would freeze up, each time they took my money and told me the problem was fixed, only to find out a few days later the ac was still freezing up, I cleaned every thing on my cars ac unit from top to bottom and nothing has solved the freezing up problem. I often smell a stale odor coming from the vents, but that's is almost always right after the ac freezes up and I turn on just the blower to thaw out the system, the smell is gone before you really notice it. she has the proper amount of Freon, at least that's what the dealer tech wrote on the ticket, the system is solid as far as I can tell, no leaks, the suction line and both Schrader have been replaced, so no leaks in the system. sometimes you can hear some popping or cracking noise under the dash but can't seem to pin point where the noise is coming from. the from vents has always blown very cold air, however the rear vent always blows hardly any cool air at all. front seat riders you freeze your butt off, the back seat riders burn up. why can't Chrysler fix this simple ac problem?
