There is a fuel smell in the car, for the first 1/4 tank of gas. The smell is really bad in the back seat. After the car is under 1/2 tank the fuel odor begins to subside. Passengers in car begin to have headaches and upset stomachs. After veiwing other chrysler forum's - I believe this to be common with this style of car and an extreme Safety issue
It seems Chrysler doesn't have the correct fuel pump ! they sell my 3 different ones and all do not work. They even match it with the VIN! I can't get one to work and I spent thousands. A lot of others on 300 forums have had the same issue !! so many 6.1 and higher that need that fuel pump but Chrysler seems to keep sending me parts and taking my money! please help
