In winter trunk pops open by itself. This can happen while driving. Unless car is locked it can open anytime. Seems to be mainly a winter issue. This car has been a great car to drive but it has been plagued with various problems. The latest is continual "service blind spot system" message accompanied by an annoying chime. On line reports suggest repair costs into the thousands.
