CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2006 is the worst year for PT Cruiser engine complaints. Having an engine light on is annoying, but it's the complaints about the engine shutting-off while driving that really have us concerned.

I bought the car 1 yr ago. It ran great when I got it. It overheated one time and blew head gasket. replaced all upper gaskets and seals and now has a bad blowback. had head checked and not cracked. Now trying to find the problem. Never had so much trouble out of a vehicle repair in life and I have worked on a lot of vehicles since I was 12 yrs old. Never again will I buy a Chrysler product. They can't build cars for crap!!!!!
