The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 mph, there was a sudden loss in engine power and the power train control module warning lamp illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer were the technician stated that the power train control module needed to be reprogrammed. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure and current mileage was 100,000. The VIN was not available.

The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated that while driving 43 mph, the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where the contact was advised that the vehicle was included in NHTSA campaign id number: 06V432000 (power train: Automatic transmission: Control module -tcm, PCM). The contact stated the dealer was going to replace one part of the fuel pump module and requested that the contact cover the rest of parts of the module and labor costs. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure however provided no additional assistance. The current and failure mileage was 73,000.

The vehicle was taken to a local mechanic to have the failure diagnosed. The manufacturer informed the contact that the vehicle was not included in the recall associated with NHTSA campaign id number 06V432000 (power train: Automatic transmission: Control module (tcm, PCM)) and denied assistance with the repairs. The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica. While driving approximately 40 mph the vehicle suddenly stalled. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who stated the engine control module failed. The engine control module was replaced. After the repair the transmission control module light illuminated on the instrument panel and the mechanic stated the transmission control module had to be replaced again. There was a recall under NHTSA campaign id number: 06V432000 (power train:automatic transmission:control module (tcm, PCM)) that may be related to the failure. The dealer was made aware of the failure and stated the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 98,000. Car died as I was making a left turn. Car was 2 hours into the trip so was fully warmed. It started back up immediately after incident. Two instances of this, first was at 8050 miles, next was at 11800 miles. (4/12/06, 6/20/06) car taken to dealer (team Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep, Michigan city, in) after second incident (6/29/06) and they could not find any "trouble codes" stored. They state on invoice, "1803905 for PCM reprogramming. Reprogrammed PCM per tsb 1803905 18190610/.7/fc fm." No other stall incidents have occurred.
