Blown head gasket after only around 54,000 miles - mechanic said that the car shouldn't suffer from such problems at such a young age. Chrysler corporation notified but refused to help saying the car is out of warranty. In addition, the car suffers from significant engine noise when idling and the air conditioner just went out. While I understand that the car is out of warranty, I am very disapointed in the quality of Chrysler's product and the company's unwillingness to stand by their automobiles.

Dealer troubleshot for seven hours and replaced the ais motor and cleaned heavy carbon out of the intake. Dealer told us to drive the car around to allow the cleaner to remove the carbon in the intake. Extremely dangerous task. The car's performance has not improved. Dealer suggests replacement of the PCV valve. Remedy seems suspect.
