The middle row seat spring was broke which allowed the latch to release by itself. The consumers grandson was riding in the vehicle in the middle row directly behind the drivers seat when he noticed the seat was not fastened to the floor.

This vehicle was in a front end side collision, the other vehicle was traveling at 40 mph and the consumer was going 20 when and was struck in the front side. The third row of seats collapsed in this mini van and was laid flat out like a bed. The dealer has been contacted.
