We are now on 4th alternator. First one took a day to replace.. second 5 days.. third 4 days.. now on day 2 of the 4th. Dealer says it is a defective plunger in the alternator and Chrysler has sent them new tested guaranteed to work alternators. Van has 90k on it and been great vehicle but I need a reliable van.. as soon as I see that this one has an alternator that works it will be somebody else's van. This is my 5th van and think they are great.. just can live with one that is not reliable.
