CarComplaints.com Notes: Chances are you didn't want to have to buy a used minivan, but chances are you _also_ didn't realize how much stuff you need to travel with kids. When it comes to hauling around piles of diaper bags and coolers full of snacks, you could do worse than the 2004 Town & Country. Especially when you compare it to the 2005.

1. cruise control will not release when applying brakes while accelerating. 2. no damage as of yet but almost slammed into guard rails that was located at a drop off of about 1700 ft. 3. vehicle was looked at by Chrysler and was not repaired. Fault was duplicated with the tech in the car. Chrysler engineering dept told the tech that they know there is a fault with the system but the possibility of the fault happening is so low that they were not to concerned about it. Their suggestion is not to use the cruise control when there is a possibility of vehicle acceleration. (same wire controls downshift and brake control for cruise).
