The a/c in my 2008 Chrysler Town and Country van never did work correctly, might as well drive with the windows down. On a 85 degree day, you were doing good to get the temperature to blow cold at 65 degrees. The rear air came out at 75 degrees and very poorly. Was told nothing can be done since the factory has set expansion valves at a certain temperature. My good ol' GM car blows at 40 degrees on a 90 degree day, that's with r134a also. So, no way of getting cooler air out of it unless the outside temperature drops 20 degrees.

rear A/C do not cool

I was told by service dept. the rear a/c expansion valve is stuck and need to be replaced. Total cost 413.84.

The vehicle has 60,000 miles, just wondering how many more out there with this problem?
