Received a head injury from a parked vehicles overhead console. The head injury required the response of an ambulance due to blood loss. Also required use of surgical glue under to car of a dr to close the wound. Center console overhead compartment is very sharp on its edge and can inflect substantial injure. In my case the sliding door was open and when I leaned in to the vehicle slightly and the top of my head came into contact with the open door of the overhead compartment. The edge of the compartment caused a very deep head wound.

Small plastic piece that connects the sliding door cables to the track cable broke rendering door immovable by remote. There is one hex bolt that attaches this piece to track. This has been replaced previously on both of the doors on this vehicle. This time it's the right side door.

Our 2008 Chrysler Town & Country leaked water from a manufacturer defect in the ac drain tube, rotted the carpet and underlay, filled the wiring harness under the passenger carpet with water. The drain tube was replaced under a recall. The ac started to blow hot air.the dealer said it was the ac compressor so we had it replaced. $ 800. This did not fix the problem so they said it needed the ac pressure switch and harness so we replaced it. $400. This still did not fix the problem so the Chrysler dealer then diagnosed the tipm. After $ 1200 we still have no ac. We have another $ 500 to pay if we can ever get the part. The whole problem is from the water from the defective drain tube shorting the electrical system and Chrysler know it. The dealer said the tipm was on back order and there were 600 others ahead of us. We contacted Chrysler but they are just giving us the run around. We bought Chrysler to support american jobs. What a grave mistake.

Automatic doors and tailgate do not stop if something is in their path. My wife received a serious bump on her head when the tailgate closed on her, her hand was caught in the door as it was sliding closed and my 2 year old son had his fingers closed in the sliding passenger door. There does not seem to be any or accurate sensors to prevent this and it could result in a very serious injury. I do not need to tell you the consequence of a child's head or torso being crushed. I am truly disturbed by this and I hope you will investigate it fully and find a satisfactory resolve, before there are any other injuries. The dealer simply stated they would reprogram the sensors. They picked the vehicle up and later called to say there was really nothing wrong, that although the door did close on their hand and it did hurt, it eventually stopped and I should tell my 2 year old not to put his hand in the way of the closing doors. I don't even know how to respond to their reply.

2008 Chrysler Town & Country limited --- the automatic sliding side door came open while the car was in motion going forward at about 30 mph with children in the vehicle. The doors had have previous problems with not shutting all the way. We had been shutting them by hand. We did take the van to the dealership to have it fixed. The van was returned and we were told it was a electronic problem. Less than one week later the van doors will not shut automatically again.
