I got this car July 4,2015 and I have had to have the brakes replaced at least 3 times and i get regular oil changes soon as the change oil light comes on, now the the engine is failing. Not only am I still paying for the car but i have to keep repairing it too, this car is a pain in you know what. I called the dealership and they said i have warranty but they not sure it going to cover my engine. Please think before buying a dodge advenger. Its going to cause you headaches and pain

Avenger SXT 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 28,000 miles

Car had been driven and started several times, was waiting on someone turned the ignition off. 10 minutes later, reached, turned the key to start and let go of the key. Thought my car was started but it continued to crank over and over and over by itself with the key in the start position till I reached up and turned it off. Was told when I first bought the vehicle this was called crank start and would do this until the car started. Why? I had just had the car going, the battery is not bad, it was not freezing, and of course a dealer cannot answer that question! Really annoying but no one knows why it does it. Hmm.......
