Chrysler Dodge I will never buy another there cars are worthless. Landmark Dodge is a bunch of crooks with very poor customer service. They are liars and also the Chrysler headquarters are also a bunch of worthless people. I will be encouraging all of the people I know not to buy anything from Chrysler Dodge. If your car has a recall or before you buy you better research anything from them carefully. They will get your car hold it for a month or more. NO ONE WANTS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANYTHING THAT GOES WRONG. As for get getting a loaner you want get nowhere with that if it is there fault. I told my son to buy a Mustang or Camero. I bet he will listen the next time. We will be getting rid of that Chrysler Dodge. Timing chain under recall and not the air bag. i will have to deal with these idiots one more time. I will be taking this car to a mechanic that is not going to be bullsh----ting me with mess. Blaming the dealer that sold you the car.

CHRYSLER DODGE ARE NOT GOOD CARS. SAVE YOUR MONEY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Challenger RT 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 54,000 miles

On the way home from work my Dodge Challenger R/T (5.7 auto) suddenly lost all power and I was stranded on the side of the expressway. The car was towed to the dealer and they advised me the timing chain broke. They ordered new heads, but they are on back order, of course. I asked the service adviser if there was any damage to the block and he advised me that there are no long blocks available. So if there is damage to the block, guess what, I am stuck. There is no indication at all when my car will be fixed. I will never, ever, ever by another Chrysler product.

Challenger R/T 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 108,000 miles

I'm in need of some serious help...I have a 2010 Challenger R/T 5.7 Hemi...It's in the shop right now..Stopped running last Thursday..I had it towed to the dealership where I purchased it..They've taken 4 days now to tear it apart looking for the problem (at $85.00 an hour) to call me this morning telling me the timing chain broke. They don't know how much damage is done internally..To take an extensive look would be costly..

They could bore the heads..but they don't know if that would fix the problems..Since Chrysler makes the engine, the dealership called them. They suggested a new engine (of course, right) HERE'S THE PROBLEM !! Chrysler doesn't make a rebuilt 5.7 for the Challenger, they NEVER have problems out of them to need a rebuild. IF they FIND a new one..it's going to be AT LEAST $ 10,200....They were talking about getting a small block engine to replace it,,,but JUST for the engine itself is gonna be $7600 PLUS labor ,,,remember 85 an hour...

My BIG question..have you EVER heard of this problem with these engines,,,and do you have anyone you could talk to..or put me in touch with that may be able to help me....Sorry so long..I was trying make sure I at least gave you the jest of the problem..Thank you for your time..Happy Thanksgiving :)

Challenger Hemi

  • Automatic transmission
  • 50,000 miles

The car was being driven down a dry pavement and quit. Call tow truck driver, while waiting on the tow truck it started raining. The car was towed wirh the nose down to the road to Napelton Dodge of Clermont. Mechanic investigated and said that the engine had ingestaded water by looking at a little water that was in the air filter box. Today (2/15/2013) the mechanic dropped the oil pan to look for water, he stated to witnesses that he couldn't see any water in the oil. Well this afternoon that changed when the head service man stuck his finger into the oil and said the viscosity of the oil told him there was water in the oil. I got a sample of the oil, going to take to lab to determine if the oil does have any water. Head guy confessed this is a problem with the CHALLENGER but Chryslar want change the design nor stand behind a bad design. Looking for any information that will make Chryslar pay for a screwed up design.
