Airbag light stays on and bells. I put in for the recall but records show even on here that its repaired but it never has. I'm afraid it may explode and metal may come out and and harm me or passenger. Why does system show repair but it hasnt been and can it be repaired? It's a part of recall.

I bought this car for 11,000 in September of 2019, since having this vehicle I had and have many issues with this car. October my stero touch screen stop working and my gas tank needed to be replaced. I got it fix for over $500 the following month my key fob sensor went out and this was the in the month of November. The vehicle is a Dodge Challenger supposed to be an SXT on the car fax but in person the motor is not a SXT this vehicle has no original parts of Dodge. The Challenger has aftermarket wires, headlights from asia, and wires every by the motor where open wires should not supposed to be witch is unsafe to drive off the lot. The Challenger airbags plus other mechanical mechanics issues was reported from brandon Dodge dealership witch qld was aware of and did not resolve the issue before selling me the Dodge charger even my seatbelts is unsafe. The month of January, 2020 I was driving my car on the interstate and my car just shut off I had to drive to autozone I got a new battery that same month I approached the manager of qld and informed him with everything that's going on with the vehicle the manager responded that's a personal matter and I was left on my on to care of this car that I can not afford to fix a and pay for monthly vehicle that is not reliable. March 27, 2020 I was driving from my apartment complex and my power steering pump fell out of the bottom of my vehicle I later on that day got the car lifted and to found out the power steering pump was zipped tied and not secured to a bracket. I feel that this company is just looking for a dollar and do not care about what type of dangerous unsafe hazardous vehicles they are selling to customers who are unaware of these issues.

The contact owned a 2013 Dodge Challenger. While driving 45 mph to approach an intersection, another vehicle ran a stop sign and crashed into the front of the contact's vehicle. None of the air bags deployed and the vehicle was damaged extensively. The driver sustained bruising from the seat belt restraint, as well as head, neck, back, and bodily pains. The contact was transported via ambulance to receive medical attention. A police report was filed. Five star Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of warner robins (2817 watson blvd, warner robins, ga 31088, (478) 387-2017) was notified of the failure. The vehicle was destroyed and towed to a facility. The contact was waiting on the manufacturer and insurance company to determine if they would inspect the vehicle. The manufacturer issued NHTSA campaign numbers: 19V018000 (air bags) and 18V021000 (air bags). The contact was uncertain if the failure was related to the recall campaigns. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and stated that they would send someone to investigate the crash in two days. The approximate failure mileage was 104,000.

Passenger airbag inflator recall. Received recall back in February 2018. Have called local dealership to set up time to fix the problem. Was told they do not have the parts. I have been told now 3 different times parts are not available even though letters that I received states that parts are in. It's now been 4 months. I just do not think they want to bother with it. Dealer location is 970 E. interstate 30, rockwall Texas 75087 (469) 698-2100

Smart glass draining battery, takata inflator recall, timing chain recall and alternator recall in Dec 2017 my Dodge Challenger 13' ran out of battery & was towed to a repair shop. There were 2 recalls, one being an alternator, causing the battery to drain and not able to be jumped. After 1.5 months of talking to Chrysler fca recalls about how to get the recall work complete, my car arrived at covert Dodge in austin in Jan 2018 (I paid for tow out of pocket). From Dec to Mar 20th, I was without a car and covert /fca would not put me in a rental while waiting on back ordered parts. On Mar 20th, they put me in a rental vehicle. Apr 20th fca called to tell me: 1) all 3 recalls have been addressed 2) the smart glass window module, which is actually what is causing the battery to drain, is still on backorder (eta May 29, but not a firm eta and this part has been on backorder since Jan) but the car can be driven without operable windows, 3) I need to return the rental in 2 days and pick up my car. I stated that it is unsafe to drive a car with inoperable windows (getting pulled over and having to open my door to talk to the police, extremely hot weather in Texas and not being able to open the windows, little kids and car sickness, unable to use drive-through anything, etc). The service manager stated that he can't comment on safety, but the car is drivable. The case manager at fca said that she can only address safety concerns in bulletins from fca. The smart glass window module has been on back order for me since Jan 2018 and no confirmed eta. This part has been recalled on 2012 and 2011 Challenger and multiple other mopar part cars. There is a long list of people waiting for this part (probably 1000S), many due to a recall. In the meantime, I'm expected to use my car without working windows - meaning windows have to be closed and can not open.

The vehicle was in motion on the highway. The vehicle unexceptdly stopped accelerating on the highway causing me to put my hazard lights on as cars were in iin motion at a 70mph speed limit. I was able to pull over on the side of the road. I turned the car off in an attempt to turn the car back on. The car wouldn't turn back on and the car became disabled. I had to have my car towed.

The air bag light has been coming on every two weeks since I purchased the vehicle on September 15, 2015. I have an open case with Dodge however the problem is still occurring as of today. They service department is stating the hitch is the issue however the hitch has been replaced 6 times. I am unsure if this is an recall issue or not however I am extremely concerned that I will not survive an accident or the air bag will deploy in a minor situation causing severe damage or death. The air bag light is on when the car is stationary as well as in motion.
