Charger RT 5.7L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 125,000 miles

Last year 2016 mid July my wife's 06 Charger RT began to act stupid--gauges acting crazy--speedometer jumping up and down no blower--etc..took it to crown in Chattanooga--service rep said "cant begin to fixed it unless it's doing it when you pull in" well hell far buddy--it gave you pecker heads 4 different codes--to which your response was the same--"can't fix it IF it ain't doing it so we can see for ourselves!"

I take the car and just go home--now fast forward to June 1st. Car went nuts with my wife coming home on the freeway--she is terrified the engine will stop running while she is trying to get home--Thank God it didn't.

SO--After the stupid comments from Crown we decided to go to Mtn View Dodge--we took it in and they were able to pull codes and check it--they found bad front control module--seat relay module--receiver for the keyless entry--and they had to reset the whole thing--thank God they fixed the issues.

I think it's sad that we have spent the kind of money we did when we purchased this car--and Chrysler has screwed us over My sweet wife is very pissed at Crown in Chattanooga--and even the Mtn View tech said--"they knew/suspected what was going on but didn't want to fool with it! Had they done the repairs last year I can guarantee it would not have cost us 1200.00 dollars that we didn't have.

I am very disappointed with Chyrsler for the stupid engineering they are allowing--put the control modules back inside the cab of the truck/cars like they used to be--we would have never had this issue to begin with..Ok now I will go confess my foul language and thoughts of justice on Crown for "not wanting to fool with us" and I will say to MTN VIEW DODGE--Thank you thank you for getting my wife's vehicle going again!!!!

Update from Jun 11, 2017: well--as I said before--mtn view dodge in ringgold ga fixed the problems Bad front control module bad wire ground--due to the bad fcm Bad computer relay under the front drivers seat Reprogram/reset the computer Diag Fee

grand total 1200 Bucks!! Thank you Chrysler once again for reminding me I chose you!

Charger RT 5.7L Hemi

  • Automatic transmission
  • 98,000 miles

I replaced my engine as stated in a previous compliant, immediately after I got the car back and after 3 weeks of oil leaks, I started having the radio come on while driving, the wipers stay on during delay or won't shut off when turned off. Also prior to my engine failure, my dual temp control worked perfect. Now the driver side will not heat up. I ask the dealer about this and was told they didn't do it and it will cost me 850.00 to tear out the entire dash and fix the vent door. Why would all this start to go wrong after the prior trouble, and before I had no trouble....Someone give me something to feel good about. And please read my prior post...
