I was just wondering if there was anyone out there that has had the same problems! Yesterday was out of town visiteding friends for lunch. While driving I notice the tenp. gauge was way up. I pull over to check it, while park the temp. went down. I told my friends about this and we all agree that it was the termastat. I took it to a shop (Pepboys). They would check it out and call me. They call and said it was not the termastats but the fans on the radiator had gone bad, but the good news was they were on recall. Took my car to the local Dodge dealer and they look into the recall and yes to bring the car in today. I did, left the car with them. About 30 mins. later I got a call from from the dealer and was advise they the ven# of my Dodge Charger R/T was not in the other ven# of the others Charger's that was on recall for this problem and that he would show me. With not having any other choice I had to have a car I went and told him to fix it at a cost of 500.00 dollars. My question is, if there are the the same year and model which they are, what could be the diffrent? I have try to go on line and connect to someone or something to fine out the diffrent. No luck. Can someone out there help? Thanks RickyW.
