This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
Brake lights first went out on 09/08/2006 under normal driving conditions on our 2006 Dodge Charger R/T. dealership has fixed the problem on four separate times. On 06/03/2007 brake lights went out again and dealership once again attempted to fix the problem. When we got home with the vehicle, the brake lights were already out again. The dealership refuses to try and fix the problem, saying Dodge/daimler Chrysler needs to step in and replace the car. As of 07/10/2007 our Dodge Charger R/T sits in our driveway unable to drive the car while we get the run around from the dealership and from Dodge/daimler Chrysler. The dealership said they found the following problems with the brake lights; blown fuse, kink in the wiring, brake light switch module, right brake light assembly and 3rd brake light was arching. The repaired or replaced parts are not available.
