A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

After the vehicle was at the dealer for a whole 7 days, they called me and informed me the vehicle was ready. I came to pick the vehicle up, got in the car and as I was driving away the entire dashboard shut off, speedometer went to "0" and gas gauge went to empty. I turned around immediately shaking and scared half to death. The service advisor said it needed to be "RESET" but that he would "order a new one just in case". ( ? just in case what ? ) the vehicle was in the hands of dodge for an entire week and they couldn't even fix the problem? They just made it worse? Well, the advisor told me it was fine to drive that it wouldn't do that again that he'll call me when the parts are in. At 3:30 pm today I get in my car start it and it shuts off completely goes black on the dashboard. This is traumatizing if it's ever happened to you. You thank GOD that you weren't going 70 on the high way. Dodge has probably had several deaths in their hands because of this when they can just respect their consumers and fix the problem. Instead they beat around the bush and play games. They CLEARLY don't care about the safety of their consumers. WE take all the risk buying the car and take the roll of being so helpless when things go wrong. That won't be the case here.

car shut off, refused to restart

Pulling in to my driveway, engine suddenly shut down, all the warning lights on the dashboard lit up, multiple messages, lost steering and brakes. Pumping the brakes and twisting hard on the steering wheel I managed to come to a stop. Car refused to start again. Called roadside assistance, flatbed tow truck came to pick up my car. After several week, the dealership called to tell me the car was ready, they had replaced the DTC (Drivetrain Control Module). After picking up my keys, I walked out to my car and it started ok, then shut off exactly the same as before... IN THE DEALERSHIP PARKING LOT. Went back inside, Garage Manager told me he had personally taken it for a test drive himself, the car was fine. Except it wasn't. NINE WEEKS later I got a call back to pick up my car. They had to pull the car apart to replace the wiring harness and install another DTC.

I have absolutely no faith in this car whatsoever.
