problem #1

Feb 202015

Dakota Sport 8 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 160,000 miles

I purchased a 2004 Dodge Dakota, 1 owner, very clean and nice truck! The other day, Feb 2015, I was backing out of the hospital parking lot and the steering wheel didn't want to turn, was sticking and very labored! It didn't give me a problem driving home until I was pulling in my driveway at home. A couple days later I was pulling into a parking space and it did the same thing, VERY difficult to crank and seemed to "jump" and "jolt" in order to turn. NOT SMOOTH!

NOW... I am going to take it to my mechanic and spend money on a problem that sounds like it should be covered with a RECALL Dodge!! Come On! This is a serious problem and could easily cause accidents when turning in traffic...etc...!! How many complaints do you need?? Should someone DIE before this is recalled and taken care of!!! I tried calling the corporate office yesterday and the phone rang and rang and rang....!!! WHAT!?!?! I am going to continue my quest to find someone to hear my complaint from my mouth, not from my hands.

PEOPLE! If you are having this problem, take the time to fill out the info here so you can state your complaint! If we all call and complain when/where we can, MAYBE something will be happen before someone does DIE from this problem! The almighty $$$$$$ is MORE important than LIVES!!! That is the country we live in and we all learned it from you know who.... Our Federal Government!! Quit lining your pockets with profits and take care of your customers who are driving your vehicles!!!!!!!
