Three windows on my 99 Dodge Durango have failed. Only the drivers side window still works. This is odd because it's the one which is used the most by far. I find it highly unusual that all three of the other window motors have failed. I believe there must be a defect in the window motors on my vehicle. Please let me know if this problem has been reported to the manufacturer and if Dodge has agreed to replace these defective parts.

Power windows will not go down. Wires were burned. Dealer was ordering a wire assembly. Dealer has replaced motor 3 times.

The left front power window has failed 4 times, the right front window has failed 2 times and each of the back windows have failed once. The first time the window failed was 3 months after vehicle purchase. Since then the vehicle has been in for window repair at 6 months after purchase, 14 months after purchase and now with the latest trip 22 months after purchase. At the last visit the dealer required us to pay $175 for the repair of all four windows. Although our vehicle is over its milage for warranty I believe in a case such as this where there is an obvious problem with a particular part we should have had this repair done free of charge regardless of warranty. Rear and front power windows have failed to operate twice. The front end makes a romping noise that has been verified not to be tire noise. Sounds like the front end may fall off. Dealer keeps saying that they can't duplicate the noise.
