Window regulators have gone out on all windows total of 14 times. Three of my windows are currently held up with a wooden board cut to size. Had the dealership replace them at first, got too expensive, kept breaking the plastic pulley at the top of the regulator. The motor always works fine, its a 5 cent piece that breaks. Have to buy the whole assembly, $100 roughly, shop labor, $200 plus. I'm tired of fixing this problem and dodge wont fix it or recall it. They are in a class action lawsuit over the window regulators in a jeep liberty. Guess what? SAME PART! Same pulley, same flawed system. My durango is garaged and well taken care of. Dodge should fix this...here's a link to complain. http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/defects/results.cfm Rest of the car is in great shape. Google dodge window actuators before you buy, make an informed decision. And do not take a vehicle to JCBILLION in bozeman, the shop manager should have replaced my window parts the first time under warranty, but told me it was an electrical issue, so was not covered. THIS IS NOT AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE! It is mechanical, you will find the plastic parts to the upper half pulley in the bottom of your car door.
