I purchased my Dodge Durango SUV (Model 2008 - Limited Edition) from Dodge Chrysler Jeep official dealer in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The date of Purchase was February 2009 with Zero Mileage. The car was not used, only 17000 kilometers distance till now (less than 8000 miles). All service and maintenance were done regularly within the dealer’s warehouse and garage according to their advices and recommendation. The car was perfect without problem for the last 3 years.

I finished my contract and returned back to Jordan 2 months ago. Here in Jordan (weather in Jordan is different than that in Saudi Arabia) I started to face 2 problems:

1. Leakage of water below the level of Hood Release Lever (sometimes following heavy rain).

2. The other problem is more serious: started in a heavily rainy day were the engine did not respond and did not start (like dead), I tried several times and it works after few minutes. But, most of the instrument cluster were turn off and on in an irregular manner even during the car was in the street (On and off in the electrical system including A/C system and Sound Systems)

This problem use to recur during very cold weather, early morning and during rainy days. After around 2 weeks; the Alarm system was spontaneously started during night 2-3 times. I make sure that nothing touched the car body since the car is inside my yard. Similarly, the Alarm system spontaneously started next night for moments, and silent again spontaneously. Next morning, when I tried to started the engine electrical failure and no response due to battery failure. I charged the battery using cables from another car, and it works. 2 days after this event the same battery failure happened.

I ask you kindly to help me to diagnose the problem? And I need to know also if my vehicle has an international warranty so I can show it to the dealer of Dodge in Amman – Jordan? Especially it is still less than 4 years since purchase and only 17000 kilometer Mileage distance???
