Vehicle has loud humming noise coming from passenger side.took me a month just to get an appointment..dropped car off on 12/09/19 @ westbury, NY Dodge dealer..dealer stated car needed wheel hub bearings, states all 4 have been changed. Told to pick car up on 12/17/19, car was never test driven as stated and problem was worst. Left car to correct, picked car up again on 12/18/19 to here a new problem which was rubbing from passenger rear.. service rep. Dominique who test drove with me said that this was normal.(unsatisfactory).service rep. Handling my car is manny., gives me the run around, doesnt stay intouch only after I make numerous complaints, promised to give me a loaner vehicle, then when I show up I dont recieve one, reason being I didnt purchase car from them, but ok to be inconvenienced for over 10 days..I was told by both reps. To take car and bring back if issue continues.(situation was still ongoing)..this is very unsatisfactory and how will I be compensated. My vehicle still isnt fixed and I live in Pennsylvania and car is in NY..

My 2014 Durango has been making a knocking noise on the front driver side for over 3 years now. I took my car in several times and to different dealers. It was always the same story, 'we couldn't find anything' I even had one dealership tell me 'sorry we can't figure it out, it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack.' Are you kidding me!! my vehicle has been to the dealer over 5times for the same problem and it's never been fixed. Now it's out of warranty and out of their hair, just what they wanted. I need to help on what to do in this situation. Another issue I had was with the fuel pump. They fixed some problem I had a few years back, they actually broke my gas tank door after working on this issue. My car has once again come back with this same problem. Today my car won't start and is unfortunately out of warranty. I had a mechanic come take a look at it and it seems to be the fuel pump once again. Who's working on these cars" drunks" I need help asap. I want to note that the knocking noise occurs every time I'm driving. No matter the road conditions. Smooth, bumping, raining, the knocking sound is there. It sounds like a rock hitting under the hood. It's not constant but happens every 3-5 minutes and I know it's not the lifters because I've also had the problem already and it's been fixed. Any help would be great..

I am experiencing a thumping noise in the rear end of my vehicle when moving on any surface with the slightest imperfection. When taken to the dealership to be checked out they found that the rear shocks are causing the abnormal noise. In my own research on these (rather expensive) shocks I have found that they should not be failing in under 100K miles which my vehicle is under and I have also found in a couple forums that they have a known defect. However Chrysler claims there is no service bulletin or recall on them. Several independent repair shops have also made the comment that I should not be having this sort of issue with these shocks and that I should contact Chrysler to see if they would cover them. The customer service rep that I spoke with at Chrysler advised me to make a complaint with the NHTSA. Chrysler call reference number: 57340981. These particular shocks have been quoted to me by the factory service department at $477 each and are not covered under the 5 year 100K mile power train warranty.

For 2 years we had issues with worn inner walls in front & steering shake. We brought it in with extended warranty along with video of noise from self diagnostic. Our concerns were dismissed by dealership & another automotive shop informed me that both front hubs were bad. Called dealership again & same dismissal. We changed both hubs at our own expense and problem fixed. Bushing was making horrendous noise and also dismissed by dealership. Changed that on our own expense and issue solved. Alternator was supposedly changed due to recall by dealership & after inspecting it, we have both agreed that the alternator hasn't been touched. Bolts show no signs of any type of torque and alternator is dusty and dirty as is the rest of the components in engine bay which also lead us to the conclusion. This vehicle was and I believe still is unsafe due to recall concerns and the local dealership absolutely refuses to acknowledge any wrong doing. I will be seeking further action against them and hope this doesn't continue to happen to others.
