Tire sidewall split and failed abruptly while traveling at approximately 45 mph. Tire was properly inflated prior to the failure. There are no signs of wear or damage on the sidewall except for the split. The tire was a Michelin latitude tour P265/60R18. Dot ap5E 00dx 4513. This tire was original equipment on a 2014 Dodge Durango VIN [xxx]. the vehicle has 28,000 miles on it. Information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
