The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer was contacted. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
The braking system has failed twice on my Dodge Durango in a 9 month time period. I have had to press the pedal all the way to the floor in order to get the vehicle to stop. Upon taking to the dealership, they have confirmed the failure. There were no signs, messages in the vehicle, or warning lamps that there was an issue.
