The air bag control module has failed without warning. As a result the air bags are inoperable. The cause has yet to be determined. Please provide additional information.
While driving driver pressed the horn and there was no sound coming from the horn. Consumer noticed that horn came on and off intermittently. Consumer took vehicle to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic determined that air bag module needed to be replaced.
Air bag sensor light flashed intermittently. Dealer stated that clock spring failed, and air bags were inoperative. A recall 02V293000 was issued. However, this vehicle was not included in the recall due to VIN.
