2001 Dodge Grand ES AWD with 10700 miles. Vibration in steering wheel. Had shop look at it and they replaced all 4 tie rods and aligned the front end. This did not work. Vibration is still there. Inspected the front end and found the driver side end of the rack shot. There was a lot of play and knocking noise by moving the shaft.

Dealer cost to repair $1100 dollars. Have not done it yet. Trying to get them to take off the cost of replacing the tie-rods from the price of replacing the rack which they should have caught in the first place. It seems that no one can do a job right these days!!!
