We have a Dodge Grand Caravan with electric side doors. The motors mechanism has stopped the ability for my daughters to be able to open them manually. If we were in an accident I am afraid that they would not be able to open them to get out. When the van was under warranty Dodge replaced one that was not as bad as they both are now.
Passenger side, power sliding door closed half way. Now it doesn't power close at all. Door doesn't open manually from the inside. While driving, door wasn't closed all the way and the door ajar light/alarm in the dash failed to warn me.
2004 Dodge Caravan electric door on passenger side fails to close midway. Our concern is that if on a downward hill, if passenger uses button to close door and it disengages, my passenger could get seriously hurt.
