bought my 2005 minivan with a 2.4l used and having several problems. the vehicle would shut down with out warning even in traffic and on expressway WHICH IS VERY DANGEROUS dealer told me they cannot find the problem then the crankshaft seal has popped out numerous times. first took it to a shop and paid someone else to do it, then seal popped out again shop put it back together free of charge but did not know why. after the 4th and 5th time reinstalling seal, noticed that further investigation that when i checked free play on crankshaft there is more the 1/4 of inch play which is why the seal keeps popping out even with a retainer. THIS is nothing but a freaking headache. I cannot get any answers from dodge as to recalls. cannot drive vehicle not sure if the seal will pop out and lose all oil.
