Right after driving off the dealership lot, we noticed that one of the two cigarette lighter outlets in the dash did not work. I have asked the dealership to look at this no less than 5 times. Unfortunately, there were usually so many things wrong with the vehicle at once that we failed to get this one documented. MAKE SURE YOU GET THEM TO DOCUMENT EVERYTHING EVEN IF YOU THINK IT IS MINOR OR THAT YOU WILL GET AROUND TO IT! IT ISN'T AND YOU LIKELY WON'T! This seems to be what Dodge is hoping for. Now that the vehicle is outside the bumper-to-bumper warranty, they want me to pay $96 just to look at it and won't even guarantee that they will be able to find the problem, much less fix it. Doing without and swapping the cell charger and the portable GPS charger as necessary.

I was using a 15amp 12volt coffee pot several times until the accessory outlet no longer worked. I was surprised to find that the 20 amp fuse under the hood was still good. The owners manual says there are resettable fuses that only the dealership can reset. What!? Are you kidding me? I have to waste my very precious time at the dealership to reset a fuse? If I had time to waste I would not need a coffee pot in my car to begin with. You lost me Dodge. My future will be with Volvo. I have a 2005 XC70 with 108000 miles and never a single repair necessary.
