sliding doors freeze in the winter

Every single winter that I have had this van my sliding doors freeze and I can not get them open. It is a huge pain for me and my children when I have to take them to school and they have to climb over to the front seat to get out one by one with parents waiting for me to hurry behind me.

Automatic side doors sometimes close all the way, and at others just reopen, it can be an issue if you have a family with kids that don't look back, if we weren't already having major electrical issues with the van we would have had this fixed, for now we just go and check the doors everytime.
