Lower return hose: had to replace this 3 times already in the five years I had the vehicle.

Pressure hose: at least this one is not much of a problem. It leaked last year and I had to replace it.

The thing I don't understand though is that why a return hose with no high pressure going through it would not last as long as the pressure hose that is pretty much beat up with high pressure all the time?
