In 2015 I had to fix this same issue. Since owning the Grand Caravan the heat and cooling has been intermittent. I will get cool air when I need heat (froze literally one winter on a long drive), and died of heat in summer when hot air was blowing and I needed cool air or air conditioning.
I called Chrysler Canada to point out I had this same issue in 2015, I was told that the warranty for the repair was now expired, and my overall warranty was expired, nothing they can do.
I will not buy another Chrysler vehicle (I have other issues that should not have occurred, will make separate posts) and will no longer be taking my vehicle to the dealership for repair if they will not honor a good customer for an issue that is quite rampant on many Chrysler vehicles.
