The contact owns a 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated while driving approximately 40 MPH, there was a grinding sound coming from the vehicle. After coming to a stop, the transmission shifter was seized and the vehicle was undrivable. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer who diagnosed that the torque converter was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 160,000.
