The contact was able to safely shift the vehicle into neutral and manually pull the accelerator pedal back to position. The failure occurred without warning. The vehicle was towed to allen samuels Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram (201 w loop 340, waco, tx 76712); however, the failure could not be duplicated. The manufacturer was notified and provided case number: 34782747. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000. The VIN was not available.
