The contact owns a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle the electronics would suddenly malfunction causing the windshield wipers to erroneously activate, the turn signals to become inoperable, the backup camera to fail, and the brakes to malfunction. The contact indicated that the failure was intermittent. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who was unable to duplicate the failure and no service was performed. The manufacturer was not yet notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000.
Went to open back right window it made a loud shatter sound, freaked me out..luckily I was not driving. I was parked in my driveway. Dodge fcc did pay for Dodge company to look at issue and give their view. I paid juneau glass to fix it for $384 have not been reimbursed for that yet.
The contact rented a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan from enterprise. The contact stated while driving 20 mph in the rain, there was an abnormal sound prior to the windshield wipers becoming inoperable. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact pulled over and parked at a nearby gas station. The contact called enterprise rental car and the vehicle was towed back to enterprise. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. A dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer had not been informed of failure. The failure mileage was approximately 8,320. The VIN was not available.
