Motor went out. Incredible that a car with only 220,000 kilometers will run out of the engine with good maintenance.

also they have put a ring that is not very easy to get winter tires.

what a bad decision to have bought this car

It just randomly doesn't start. I've replaced the battery, battery cables and had a test ran at Autozone and the dealership. It continues to just not start when it feels like it. I did try pulling that fuse up that was mentioned in an earlier complaint and that works but who wants to raise the hood every time you get ready to go somewhere.

Dropped car off at dealer and waited all day for a call. Finally called service rep, I was told "that they couldn't f'ing hear the engine noise". Asked if they checked the rocker and lifter, they said they had.. Hear the funny thing 5 minutes latter, the service rep called my wife and told her the problem they found. It was the same exact thing I told them. It was too late in the day to fix, had to leave car overnight. I thought that bringing car to the dealer that they would know what the problems are because they are factory trained experts, instead I had to diagnose the problem for them over the phone. Sales rep real annoying.

I bought a Dodge because I wanted to put money into an American vehicle and I had heard such great things about Dodge's. Well we are 2 hard working military people and we are not made of money but I have 2 very tall and still growing boys so we needed the extra room. I bought my Dodge in Oct of 2011. From the very start the car started falling apart and pieces were breaking off. I took it back to the dealership within 30 days to have a part fixed for which they never did, I should have just returned the car then but my family loved it and we needed the extra room. Well a little over a year later and a rod broke in my engine, no sweat right because DODGE has that great 5 year or 100,000 mile warranty that covers things like this right......YEAH RIGHT!!! I was told that I now have to go find all my receipts for my oil changes in order for them to honor my warranty and if I don't then it will cost me $8000 to get my engine fixed!!!I almost cried, where in the world am I going to get $8000 to fix an engine!!! So I found all the receipts I could fine which totaled 5 in 13 months which I think is pretty good right, but oh no since I seem to be missing one I may have to end up paying for this car or losing money to buy my family a new car and still paying for this loan so it doesn't effect my credit. I was advised today that with my documentation they see I was trying to make routine oil changes and that they would be willing to pay 50% of the costs. We are a military family where do they think I just have $2500 just laying around. I offered to bring in documentation from my husband, my friend and his dad showing that they performed some of my oil changes because they did and I was told that would be heresay and if I don't accept this offer then will withdraw the offer and I would have to pay the full $5000 to get my engine fixed. I am floored, why isn't this dealership honoring the 100000 for supposed to be covered repair engine parts???

My car began to shake 1.5 months ago. The engine light flashed off and on twice when this happened. It was worse when the vehicle was cold. I took it to the dealer who said it was my brakes and rotors. I drove away $350 poorer and 5 minutes later, knew the problem wasn't fixed. I turned around went back to the dealer who rescheduled my for a further work up. They then told me I needed new tires and one was unbalanced (by 2 oz!!!). I knew I didn't need new tires as 3 other mechanics and various friends told me they had another year left of them. I even asked the service manager to ride with me so he could feel it, and he said he did't feel it.... he didn't believe what I said! I also noticed that when this would happen, if I got out to check the tires while the car was running it sounded like it was spit and sputtering from the exhaust. All this was relayed to the dealer. So the temperature outside went up, and the shaking lessened somewhat. Then about 1 week ago, the shaking began again with a vengeance. It shakes so hard that my seat back vibrates as if I was on a rocky road. The engine light flashed off and on.. off and on repeatedly, then finally stayed on. The shaking would subside as the car warmed up, but really didn't disappear altogether. I took it back to the dealer yesterday and apparently my #6 cylinder isn't working. So, go figure.. there is something wrong with it like I said. They are unable to fix i for 1 week, and it's apparently safe to drive (but I'm sure my mileage sucks!). My car has 46000 miles on it, and this is to be covered under the power train warranty. I'm fighting to get back my money for the brakes and rotors I didn't need in the first place!
