This is a serious safety concern that should be recalled because oil begins to leak into everything under the hood-there is a high incident rate of occurrence in 1995 Neons.
While driving vehicle stalls on a intermittent basis without warning. Dealer has been unable to locate source of problem. As of Feb 16th, the vehicle no longer starts, it cranks but will not turn over.
Engine has been leaking oil since the purchase of car. Dealership had performed work on vehicle in 1999, an oil change/filter, and a tune-up. At that time work on the engine head gasket was not attempted, advising owner of only one recall out of seven. With that one recall completed. Everything is on record at S, R, Dodge service dept. Been a loyal customer for the pass 30 years, and presently also. Thank you for your time.
Vehicle stalls at any speed, any time. Vehicle taken to dealer numerous time. Had to replace the power control module. Vehicle still stalls. Cannot remedy problem.
A major oil leak which has caused vehicle to cut off while driving at any speed without prior warning. Also, head gasket blewout. Consumer has contacted dealer, and they had replaced parts; but, problem still occurs. Please provide any futher details.
I bought veh in Dec of 1998 have made $2000 worth of engine repairs since 02/01/00 which consisted of replacing entire engine now a year later my veh is leaking oil again from the rear main seal which will be another $400 dollars to repair and I still owe $4000 on the vehicle with the amount of complaints on the engines on these cars you would think something would be done I cant keep replacing engines every year. Dodge has really screwed thousands of people on this vehicle.
