Dodge makes an OEM lightbulb.. while searching for this issue, checking all the bulbs and wiring harnesses and searching online reviews i ran into an old friend that worked as a dodge mechanic. he advised me that the body control module was either going out or the filament in one of my light bulbs was slightly larger than the correct bulb thats supposed to be in there. the control module sends signals through the truck to check the bulbs every second or two when it detects a larger current than a bulb is supposed to have it dings. The dinger kept going off all the time wanting me to run this damn thing off a cliff. i changed the bulbs although they were still good and the problem hasn't happened again.

We have had our truck in the shop several times for "check gauges", and "lamp off" messages, I know twice. The problem comes right back. The dealership will say that there are many reasons why these warnings will come on. They want to charge each time, because by the time you go back your warranty has expired, or they claim it was something different this time. This is an outright rip off for the consumer.
