yeah. its frustrating to have a new truck and dodge cant even fix it yet. only one aftermarket company makes the shocks. they are on a 2 month back order. the dealership is the same. cant get the parts yet. sounds like they don't want to own up to defective shocks. sounds like recall to me.

I have troubles reported about engine stalling on my 2006 ram 1500. I thought I would tell the story of all 2006,07 & 08 ram 1500s. The front end of all these vehicles is designed wrong with defective parts from the factory & replacements used by dealerships.
I have spoken to Dodge chrysler mechaincs & service advisors. They are told not to say anyting or they will loose their jobs. Ive taken a look at 2008 dodge rams used on the lot & most have had their tie rod ends changed DUUU I wonder why???
The front rotors have been changed on my 06 & turned once with 64000 kms. The bearings changed under recall OOPS!!!
The shocks on front leaked 3 new shocks installed on front end.
The outer tie rod ends changed at 20000kms NOW loose again at 64000kms.
Truck shakes like crazy when stopping (tie rods & calipers seized) GOOD design DODGE) Did you design it after one of youre heavy duty CALIBERS???? The brake caliper design was changed to 2 piston for better braking HA HA!!!

The truck still stalls in cool damp weather.

Another member emailed & told me he had the same trouble & it wasnt repaired until the PCM was changed. He told me to unload this lemon its one thing after another & Dodge doesnt own up. Well I cannot afford a new truck. So I hope that owners see this & start complaining untill Dodge owns up that the front end & PCMs on those 3 years are BADDDD!! No wonder they changed everything on the 2009 to advertise it had the highest quality rating. I guess it couldnt be from the 3 previous years you liars. I had to put this under the one heading complaint because it would take too long for all these headings.Just say the truck is dangerous & somebodys gonna get hurt or killed.
