The dealership in Ellensburg, WA told me that this is a part that is faulty and that they wouldn't replace the part, but needed to have it manufactured. Now their story has changed and they are saying "no" it doesn't need to be manufactured it is on back order and will not be available until January 2016!!!!!!!!! I am an contractor and my truck is my livelihood. The company will not provide me with a truck to get me back to work!!!! HELP!!

I drive a 2008 Dodge Ram that i consider and treat like my baby, I have never towed anything or put any heavy in the box,it basically only has Highway kms.I work farther away so i take the car and she drives to truck to save on gas.recently i just put new snow tires on the truck and was feeling pretty good about it when my wife said that sometimes it felt as though she was driving over a rumble strip. So i took it to work the next day to see if the tires were the problem, Its not the tires, On the way home it bucked and sputtered i got up to 90kms everything seemed fine until i slowed down to make the turn for home,IT JUST SHUT OFF WITH OUT WARNING pull of to the rd side restarted motor, bucked my way up to the dealer that just up the street. (sure glad my wife wasn't driving) Dealer said the torque converter needed to be replaced and it would take about a week before i get it back.Could not imagine what would happen if i drove like a REAL WORK TRUCK. RAM TUFF MY ASS.

Complete transmission failure....no reason, no warning. Transmission was trash when taken to dealer for repair. They haggled with Chrysler for 5 weeks. Once I called Chrysler, they sent a Mopar Remanufactured Transmission and was installed within the week. Covered under LifeTime Warranty. 71,000 miles.
