The first of the windows stopped working on the date mentioned, and my son sort of fixed it by installing a new regulator assembly. This is not something I'd recommend, since they're difficult to work on and can easily be bent. This one did bend, and it goes up and down, but doesn't close properly unless i guide it with one hand on the outside of the glass. The repair cost was based on the second one that broke (a year later), and it was actually over $300 including a new window motor. The remaining two window have broken since, but then it's a 17 year old car... these things happen.
