Takata recall..I wanted to know if my vehicle was one that needed steering column replace. My VIN number is [xxx]. information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
This fleet, even though there were no complete separations of the steering shaft assembly, has experienced steering column issues in which the green sleeve in the upper end of the column closest to the steering wheel has protruded indicating the upper portion of the steering column began to separate.
