The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and the contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 192,000.

The brake pedal switch was replaced; however the failure was not corrected. The gear shifter does not release from park. The failure mileage was 3,000 and the current mileage 27,000.
