Ford Sync was completely unreliable, rarely understood my commands no matter how slow and clearly I spoke, and I followed the specific commands documented by Ford. Simple things by voice like changing albums became a chore, and I had to go thru all the commands again when I re-entered the car instead of it picking up where I left off. Lack of manual controls for most functions also drove me insane, it should not be so difficult to use Sync. I swapped Sync for a Kenwood receiver with bluetooth and a steering wheel adapter. Not only does the new system work better, I can control everything with Siri on my iPhone and it understands me perfectly. It's easy to replace the system yourself too, Sync is NOT worth keeping. My entire driving experience changed for the better once I ditched Sync.
