After I complained, a technician from the dealer took the car for a test drive. They gave me the work order and a separate piece of paper titled: SSM49151-2020 Escape 1.5 ECOBOOST VIBRATION AND/OR BOOM NOISE WHILE DRIVING. In short it said, "Setting the drive mode to Sport may help".
The service manager then said there was nothing they could do until Ford comes up with a solution. Being this is the end of the 2020s and the 21s are coming out that means they have had a year to get this problem fixed. And it's not fixed yet.
