I have a 2001 Eddie Bauer Ford Expedition which just started to stall at any speed. I'm able to shift into neutral and restart, but during that time there is no power steering or brakes. It was in and out of the dealership. They were never able to reproduce the stalling. They thought it might be the fuse relay but they never replaced it. The dealership told me to buy a new car. What?
It ran for 6 more months never stalling, and now it stalls every five min. I will go through the existing threads to see if it is a chaffed wire near the A/C and also remove the fuse box to see if it is toast.
I wish Ford would a least send out a letter to the dealerships to make them aware of this problem before someone dies.
