I came home to Oklahoma one weekend in March 2009, traveling back from Missouri from a Military School. My Wife's Expedition passenger window was lowered a bit, like you do in the summer for the heat. I went to get the keys so I could close it, since it was kind of cold and was supposed to rain that day. My Wife told me that the window stopped working. I knew what it was the minute she told me.

I have a 2005 Ford F-150 crew cab and my driver side window slammed down and broke, and I had to replace the regulator. This also happened to my passenger side, but only this time the window did not brake, just the regulator, which ain't cheap. Anyways my Wife had to go to work that day, so I quickly took the door panel apart and braced the window up with a piece of wood so no one would break into the car, and not to mention the rain would not get in. What an inconvenience. The next day I had to go back to Missouri. The stick remains on the door.
