I have a beautiful 2007 Ford Expedition EL 4 x4 with extremely low miles that we are planning on keeping. I have always had it serviced at a Ford dealership. Now, the rocker panels started showing rust in Mid March and we cannot find the rocker panel replacement parts to get them fixed. I do not want jut a cover panel that allows the rust to continue being a cancer to other metal body parts. I want to know where we can get a real fix.

I found out because rust spots were dripping on the foot-board on both side, so I bent over to see and then a saw the rust on both sides. I called my Ford dealer to tell them the problem, as usual they said it's not on warranty because of the year, 2007 ( more than 5 year). So I had it checked at a body shop, we sand a little of the panel to find out it's completely rusted all the sides of the truck under the paint, on both sides.

I had minor repair to paint back the place we had sanded but the guy at the shop told me rocker panels on both sides are gone, have to be replace since they're made out of galvanized steel and you can't weld nothing to it and the metal is too damaged to fill it up with any kind of putty, the rust juice and bubbles would come back!! δm pissed off. I always got it oil treated every year and waxed once a year. Anybody else have problems with their tailgate and hood, me, both are perfect!! IIm very angry, L love this truck, runs like new and it has only 86000 miles. Please help me, Ford doesn´t seem to care, even if I have 5 Fords in the driveway.
